Sigh...

Behold - the first episode of the comic! :) It's actually the first comic I drew in… 9 years. I And my first serious attempt to draw some longer story since I was 15 - and I'm 27 now. But my biggest concern when deciding: “ok, so now I'm gonna draw a comic…” wasn't the story. It was the fact that I… CAN'T… DRAW! :-O

Interesting art style you've got. Is this a good angel/bad angel thing? Or the same guy?

Great conversation page here. Good job avoiding the actual characters, leaving the reader guessing a little and wanting more.

hey i love deep personal stories and this seems like it could be going there. I am not giving you a suggestion, so much of the work we do is with personal style. So I will just say that if I was trying to do the frame with the dangling feet, I would vary my ink line weight. I would make the building across the way in a thin line, and a darker line around the feet, visually indicating that they were closer to your POV. nice work.

The alerter made me miss this! But your post in Photos made me wonder if there was an update. Why is the updater so messed up. Wonderful work, and the location of your avatar is seems! :D

I'm actually happy with how the comic turned out - but I swear, I spend a couple of days on the panel with the dangling legs against the background of a building! :-O Adjusting the shading, the color of the building, the windows, the fire escape, etc. Come to think of it, the sketching/inking part was the easiest, in the end! Even though most of what I did in this comic was completely new to me and I achieved it by trial and error. What drove me to the very edge of insanity was the colors. I'm very pedantic about that. I'll spend hours trying to get the colors JUST RIGHT and making sure they match each other.

I think you have an awesome start here. Love the use of the muted colors and the art is good. The shoes and dangley legs look great. You're a tad too hard on yourself.
