Those studio big-wigs are watching my Wowio page, guys, but I don't get any reviews there at all. Maybe a thumbs up once in awhile. When considering any series for a movie, etc., they are more interested in what the FANS think than what the creator thinks of themselves.

I could totally seen this as a movie!! For the love of all things holy, Pam...get your work into some studio big-wig's hands! I guess I've had it with remakes and prequels, and sequels of remakes, and mash-ups, and....arghhhhh!!! Anyhow, at least there's this little corner of the duck for something refreshingly original! As always...great page/great work!
It's the readers that have an appreciation for stories that are the air we breathe, Oz. Even if you don't post your stories, we're so glad you read ours. :)
lol, I still have story's from Jr. High sitting around. Not worth reading, but my mom kept them (cuz that's what moms are for) and that's about 30 years ago for me as well. I'm not an artist or I'd be posting them up here. I could do a stick figure that makes other stick figures feel sorry for them...
I'm a bit of the same as you. wasn't until three years ago I started posting all the stories I have in a file cabinet. I'm no where near as good as you, and others on this site, but I post anyway.
Oh, yeah. I'm either a late bloomer, or one hell of a procrastinator. On April 25, 2010 I posted this bit where I was thinking about pulling A Deviant Mind out of the storypile. At that time it had been sitting under a pile of papers in a milkcrate for 30 years.
When I was writing A Deviant Mind, it would be another 7 years before I would even begin to conceive House of the Muses. Notes and comments on that here: http://www.drunkduck.com/House_of_the_Muses_clips_previews_and_outtakes/5236132/
I still have their origin story tucked within a pile of notes from high school, written in ink on notebook paper...here is where I add another layer to it.

Well, I always like a good story, so that's why I read and post comments. ;) I think we're better writers than we were 30 years ago.
