A lot, I bet! Yes, it's all about the backstory. As the next generation of writer, it's my duty to find out. And the rest of you get to come along for the ride. :D
Heh...I remember that cartoon....you know I had that SAME question...maybe because the writer in you wants that back story!I wonder how many kids watching Battle of the Planets had that SAME question
This was also a sort of comeback to cartoons I watched in the 1970s, particularly Battle of the Planets, casting five young people as G-Force, consisting of Mark, Jason, Princess, Keyop, and Tiny. I remember even way back then, when I was learning to create characters, stories and plotlines, being irritated as to why the hell a Princess, and a practically anonymous one beyond that title, would be hanging out with a bunch of boys for no discernible reason whatsoever. :/
There you go. Najimi's story runs really deep, since now you've read all of Issue 11, doesn't it? Back in June when Jim Dyar and I were plotting out A Deviant Mind #9, he suggested, "Let's see how twisted Najimi's family really is," and while he was blowing up downtown, I set up the rest.
a plot is afoot to wipe out BOTH sisters? BASTARDS!
that explains, though, how a princess ends up being a slave, which was a BIG question I had, since Najimi was first introduced in this story
