A Cow Conundrum: A New Plan.

I'll say one thing for Henry, he's never short of ideas. But will his new one work out better than his last? One can hope….
Well, it's been a really nasty week. My beloved grandmother passed away on Monday, and since then it's been a pretty busy time dealing with emotions and arraignments. It's been rough, but we're getting through it as best we can.
Not much else in the way of news. We're finally drawing closer to the end of this storyline, I've got a good amount of the next one scripted up, and it should be a fun, albeit long, one.
In the meantime, it's time for some responses.

@Lulululuqtqt: I can't recall if the “Yeeaah” was in my original script or if CK winged it to fill some extra room. I do know that I likely wouldn't have dragged it out. Unfortunately, being a somewhat stuffy grammar fool, I forget how it's best to make comics “sound”. It's completely different from writing a novel.
@Rainstorm: Thanks for reading!
@Trevor: Thanks for reading!
@Kid: You didn't have it done by Wednesday. :(
Do I need to dust off my old Hurtin' Stick?
@Amanda: Well…it was quite a cow-like description, was it not? I felt it accurately described Betsy. He even got her eyes right! ;)
@Nigbun: Thanks! I do so enjoy giving each character a unique voice. More often than not, I fail miserably, but every now and again it works out. Happens to help that old Vermonter accents come fairly naturally to me. ;)
@Flup: You know what? I mentioned that expression to CK the second time I saw this page. I just couldn't suppress a chuckle at it. She's definitely got a good hand at expressions it seems. :)

That's all for now. We'll be back as soon as we can with a new page. :)

Aw man. All I can say is...I'm late. With everything. =_= I haven't been on DD for weeks now and I gotta catch up with all the comics I normally read. HOWEVER...I've finished your comic page minus the dialogue...and it's only...like...3 or 4 weeks late? *cringes* How can I be the hang up this time? You have so many shiny new scripts written up for me, we have a fast working flat-ist, and yet I'M the one dragging my feet! *beats head against the wall* I'm so ashamed. =///=;

Sorry about your week. Cool comic though.

I'm always reading...even if I'm not leaving comments. :P

*Hug* Aww, I'm sorry to hear about your bad week. It must of been terrible. On a lighter note, I know what you mean about dragging words out. In writing a story, I would definitely only drag a word out if someone was saying it. When talking casually, though, I drag words out to sound how I say them.

Awww, I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother - you guys are in my thoughts!

Hahahaha! Something about a hysterical exclamation of "I didn't like it much!" makes me laugh.
