#1 The Matrix Unloaded

I'm back!
I'm done with my sprite comic. The sprite characters were too limiting to what I could do. Although I'm not a good artist (as I'm sure you've figured out), I would rather make a hand-drawn comic. Thanks to Gabe, who scanned this for me.
The coloring didn't turn out the way I wanted it too. A lot of the white space is light colored pencil. I don't think I'll be coloring my comics again.

Thanks for the tips ipokino. If I do a hand-drawn comic again, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I don't have access to a scanner as of now, so I'm not sure if I'll get a chance again.

Hey, try this. Draw in Pencil, ink your pencils when you are happy with them. Scan. Use photoshop to tighten up the sketches (there is a fantastic tutorial here by a DD artist--search Tutorial to tell you how) Drop into MSPaint or add color in Photoshop and viola, a finished color work. You will get better really fast doing this! Or get a copy of Poser and Bryce and go CGI!

twistedart is totally right. Artistic merit means nothing when it comes to comic strips. My favorite web comic, xkcd, is done entirely with stick figures, and it's freakin' hilarious. I don't so much agree wiht him about the last panel though, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Dude, don't worry about your art. Just keep doing it and you'll get better in time. Your art is just a vehicle to get your ideas out there. The last panel really needs work, though.
