Transitions:Stavlov 2 of 2

A page from the mighty El cid, lord of indecency and twisted humour.
Still feeling sorry for Stavlov?
I love El cids take on the characters, both recognisable but different.
for anyone not familiar with el cids work, be careful as it s very NSFW.http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/user/El%20Cid/

yeah, feeling sorry for most of the characters in this comic is...a little...different than in some other series'. There are very few untainted characters hereabouts. That's the universe they live in, though!

Not seeing the problem with him. He killed combatants and a cheater. No innocent deaths.
Peipei at 12:53AM, March 30, 2015
Not really sure I feel completely sorry for him, considering he killed someone for cheating. Not really a good way to solve a problem :s...
Genejoke at 11:40PM, March 29, 2015
Haha, indeed.
El Cid at 9:25PM, March 29, 2015
This was a fun exercise in straightforward drama for me. A little bit darker than the stuff I usually do, which was a challenge. The one thing that bugs me is that, since he's saying this stuff under mind control, how much of it is really true?
Genejoke at 12:03PM, March 27, 2015
@Bravo, y'know I never really knew the proper story of hercules until more recently, but yes it is alike. The spartacus thing, oh yes, there are parallels. If I'm gonna steal I'll steal from the classics.
Genejoke at 12:01PM, March 27, 2015
@Plymayer, indeed it is a fine line.
Genejoke at 12:00PM, March 27, 2015
@Banes, that's what I've been doing since death porn finish, but El cid is a tough nut to crack, over a year and I got two pages for a shit load of torture.
bravo1102 at 7:53AM, March 27, 2015
Love the topless guerrillas of Fira 4 in the first panel.
bravo1102 at 7:52AM, March 27, 2015
This guy's history is like Hercules even down to the matricide. And now the gladiatorial arena? Stavlov is Spartacus!
Banes at 6:18AM, March 27, 2015
Hey...maybe Cid needs to be put in an arena and forced to draw comics for us all day! Is that the true message of these pages, GJ?
Banes at 6:16AM, March 27, 2015
Poor Stavlov. Wow, it's great to see some stuff from El Cid again on these pages. The dramatic angles and lighting are pure 'Cid. The dude's work is greatly missed!
plymayer at 5:10AM, March 27, 2015
Great page. Helps understand him a bit more. I pity his story but think he's not the type to be cried over.
plymayer at 5:09AM, March 27, 2015
Elcid is a stud when it comes to comix.
