I got in touch with him and asked about the comic. His response:
"Boxdog won't be written off or concluded until it gets a real ending. I've given my word on that.
It's on a long hiatus but it will return."
I hope it's alright to repost your note OP/Boxdog/The Weaver. I just wanted to let everyone here know what's up. With that said, I will be checking back whenever I make my webcomic rounds.

@Insanimaniac: Sorry for taking so long to get to this - I only check this thing maybe once a month these days. Sad to say, you can probably consider this comic a dead project; disinterest seems to have crept in some time ago, while the author has long since moved on to different ideas. That's just the way things go.
