Rhetorical question

It was difficult for Bessie to choose an answer that wouldn't make Bram actually say what they use those eyeballs for (it can't be pretty), but that won't make him lose respect for her.
She actually touched the jar, she's being brave enough.

Look, there is gross and there is 'you-will-need-a-brain-bleach-after-knowing-it' gross, and this eye jar is in the second category. I can just say that *I* am trying to unlearn why they would need it, and I'm the freaking person who created them.

@ Strix: You don't consider cutting open an eyeball to get the lens out of it as gross? I'm surprised, most people who have done it (like myself) do. The insides of eyes are gooey.

Shoggoths are actually quite amicable once you get to know em. Just gotta give them a few virgins first.

It took me a while to notice that you were talking about evil dead. xD I was thinking more along the lines of 'accidentally summoning Yog-Sothoth'. xD

Deadites arn't so bad. Just need a chainsaw and "boomstick" to deal with them. *Ash voice* Groovy.
strixvanallen at 6:31AM, Dec. 10, 2014
@Darius Their reason is gross, I can guarantee this. xD
Darius Drake at 11:49PM, Dec. 9, 2014
There's plenty of reasons for them to have that jar of eyeballs. For example: 1. Eyeball Lenses can be used for a number of things that anyone not involved in researching the supernatural would never guess. 2. A number of different spells, potions and other such supernatural items need whole eyeballs for the final effects to work properly. 3. It freaks out "normal" people who sneak into there looking for valuables, without being dangerous in-and-of itself, often meaning that they leave without touching anything really sensitive or dangerous. :3
