AND WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS!
I finally have access to power, and general amenities. This gives you updates! BR resumes after this enforced hiatus, and here's the page!
Nikos is not happy with Toula's enthusiasm. Heh heh.

photobyjt: By that time, as I recall from when I did research about the Wehrmacht during WWII, they needed pretty much anyone to keep their ranks filled in the assorted fronts. But in the beginning, there were very strict criteria about joining the army. Stricter for the SS, I think, but for the army in general, to keep the Germans racially pure or some such thing. That devolved into what you're describing when they began running out of aryans.

Actually, based on the Stephen Ambrose histories, there was quite a "melting pot" in the German Army. According to his Book, "D-Day, June 6, 1944" there were Chinese, Mongols and if I remember correctly, even a Korean that were captured by Allied forces. The Germans were not picky about who they put in their uniforms.

I dunno... Say he's a Turk? A Kurd? Maybe from Morocco?

hahaha, this is something that me and Tantz snicker about alot, Bravo. Poor hunter sticks out like a sore thumb. Tall and red do not normally equal Greek. It's easier to disguise him as luggage, haha!

Welcome back! I share Nikos' skepticism. Kind of hard to explain an American Indian in the middle of a small village in Greece. American Indian? No, no, he's from Calcutta...
