I've experienced this. In high school biology, my teacher bred hairless rats in the class room for fun. The second gen mother that I named Michelle was a little off in the head. I once walked in to find her holding the lower torso of one of her offspring, munching away like it was a cheeto. My teacher insists that they only eat the dead babies, but I was still bothered by it.
