Welcome to Children of Hate, story written by Meg Syverud (heretofore known only as Cheeko) and illustrated by Milo Neuman (likewise, jiminycricketx).
This is only a smaller tale within a larger one of how two specific people came to meet and how they came to find themselves in the role of a greater tale.
Milo's other comic works include Milo and John, The Crossroads, and Fine Arts Guy.
Meg's other projects are Daisy & Moira & Roy and One Question.
As an aside: Meg will be drawing all the title pages, so this will be the last you see of her work until the next chapter. There will be nine or ten total.
