You know, when I play Skylanders on an ice level, I try and use a Skylander that can fly so that instead of slipping around, I float above the surface of the ice.
And here Chrono Trigger just throws that out the window. Magus levitates, but can easily slip on the ice here. What kind of sense does that make?

You missed the point, Gabe. Height restrictions could make it possible for him to fall, but if he's levitating, there's no difference in friction between hovering over ice and hovering over dry pavement, as he never touches either. So either he should skid everywhere, or else he should have no problem here. Actually, the former solution is more plausible and also funnier, but it'd probably get tedious over the course of a long comic arc.

Maybe he can only levitate several inches off the ground and would end up falling if reaching the edge of any high place
