Humph.

This comic does nothing for the story, it's just to tell you I haven't forgotten about this comic.
If I may set aside my continuously-carefree and happy demeanor for a moment, I would like to say something.
I really do not appreciate comments that subtly demand that I update. I would like to remind people that I'm at college right now studying to be a professional Graphic Designer and there are a lot of other things I should be doing that are a lot more important. I'm making these comics for my own enjoyment, I just happen to like sharing them with you. I'm not getting paid for all the effort I put into anything I put online, so I feel no obligation to stick to a regular updating schedule, especially with DMR. I'm already putting most of my efforts into my other comic, One Question, and I think it's amazing I'm even able to update that comic regularly with all the stuff I have to do.
I love making this comic, but I update when I feel like updating. Your impatience isn't going to make me work any faster, because frankly, I don't really care how eager you are to see the next comic. This is something I'm doing for my own enjoyment, not yours. I don't mean to sound rude or selfish, but that's the way things are.
Obviously, this is only addressed to a small group of people. Don't think that just because you posted something that mildly mentions the long gap between updates means I'm mad at you! I'm just addressing the people who repeatedly ask me when I plan to update this comic. And like I've mentioned several times already, DMR will start updating again when Book 1 of 1Q is over.
Thank you.
Cheeko out.

I feel no remorse for making any comments that may have insinuated a demand for more. Personally, if I did a webcomic (and one day I will) and I received such comments, it would let me know that people like my work, and to me that would be flattering. I'd be worried if I DIDN'T get such comments. But hey, if you want to chastise us for liking your work, feel free.

Welcome back. Hey I was about to post to ask if you had dropped this one, when lo and behold here it is. I don't read all the comments so let me apologize if at least some of the comments where simply pushily impatient. Hey it would easier on us if you wrote a less interesting story, then no one would care if you ever updated. But since you insist on being so darn interesting, you'll have to put up with impatient clamouring fans. We still be friends??

You're not the one that's beeing rude here. Some people just don't get that other people have lives...

Hay, Cheeko? When are you going to update this comic again? You should hurry up and blah blah blah I couldn't even type that all out as a joke. I hate impatient people. x3
