In that case how are Dani and Talia gonna go on this quest and protect Evan, 'cause sooner or later the other two sides are gonna go after him to get leverage on her. Unless of course, she has take steps to protect him by "extending" his "life" span by a few thousand years.

@ dragonrider: We're going to find out that things are not as simple as they seem. As with many ancient mysteries, there are always conflicting views and interpretations. Dani's life is going to get a lot more complicated in the coming weeks.

Wait one here, wasn't the knife, its history, what it did to make Dani the "Queen of The Vampires" all explained a couple years ago when satan's minions tried to steal the knife from from her? After that they went to visit Talias friend who set the trap to see if Dani was worthy of the power she holds? BYW are there other Vamps around and do we get to meet any of them?
