Eh…I watched too much anime. That's how I know about the Maid Cafes…though they were featured more in High School animes because the girls like to do Maid Cafes in school festivals.Azumanga Daioh and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya immediately spring to mind.For some reason, male dragons find female dragons in skimpy clothes sexy even though they see them naked all the time. I don't know why. (Great writing there, Micah.) Shut up!

makes sense. The Blue Adept(Piers Anthony) had a world with a serf class that weren't allowed to wear clothes and the main character spent some time talking about why women with skimpy clothes were so much more alluring than nude. boiled down to two points mystery is enticing, and when everyone's naked you become desensitized. that or your never sensitized if that's the way its always been.
