Did you catch it? They are now in 1985. You also get to meet the Time Lords, ahum, I mean the Continuity Lords of Time. Well at least she seems nice.
She's been a character I've wanted to try for a while and is a maybe for a new project. I've been a bit iffy about doing a character that's just a few steps away from being in a blacksploitation film or maybe I just questioned my ability to write a feisty sexy black woman (since I am none of those things).
I also Like how this resolves them getting off subject with the Students having sex article. As soon as a pretty girl shows up they are all quite and nervous which might answer there question why they don't have girlfriend, much less anything beyond that. The only reason Walter is involved with Jen is because she talked to him first.
