This week Drakyl turns the tables on Kyri with something a little unexpected.
And as Lemniskate pointed out in last week's comments, the flashback elements of the story are eventually coming around full-circle to the beginning scene where Kyri splits the Endstone at the Eternity Spire. But not yet…

UGH! Once I wrapped up Mastorism, it was like a flood of other projects opened up and my internet free time fizzled away. (happens all to often) Luckily I've made a come back! BOY, and what a great chapter to come back to on ENDSTONE! DINOSAURS, KIRBY DOTS, and VANDRIC the GRIM! Loving ever digital inky drop of it!

The arquebus: a piece of technology that radically changed the balance of warfare when it was first introduced. Arquebi could even [i]pierce[/i] European [i]plate armor[/i] at close range, leading to modifications in the way armor was used. As well, in feudal Japan, samurai were deadly within sword-range, and their cloth armor was designed to block arrows. But if it was a samurai versus a gunner, at long range even with a slow, single-shot gun similar to the type shown here there was a good chance the samurai would lose. All in all, it was the great battlefield leveler of its time and the fact that the Endstone could not stand against one here certainly makes sense.
