Interleude--Faces Magazine Interview Page 02 (and 2-page layout)
EssayBee on June 6, 2013
Here's page 2 of Alanna Alliteration's interview with Dr. Electric in Faces magazine (and annotated via sticky notes by Savunn). Only a portait this time, but you can see the 2-page spread below. Next update, Dr. Electric will begin to explain some of his research, and we'll begin to learn a bit about the Fab Five's origin.
For those who forgot about Fusion meeting Dr. Electric at Purple Principal's funeral, she mentioned it during her talk with Psy-Girl in Issue #4.

I want to learn more about this "Creation Energy" unless its just your comics counter-part to "Cosmic Energy" from Marvel comics.

@Mr. Kaos: Predators are creepy. Most people I know are like you describe: Very nice until you try to screw over their loved ones, then look out! For a slightly less intellectual illustration, think mamma grizzly bear. I know many a woman who would not harm a fly (that's hubby's job), but interfere with her children, and there is nothing that will appease her wrath. I am interested to see where this storyline is going.

@jamoecw. ok? poor guy. In tv tropes you can pick up much. basically it just means sure that guy/girl is a nice one.. untill you piss him/her off big time. but i forgot that it also could refeer something else. social predator sounds.. creepy. O.o

nice

actually the "beware of the nice ones." stems from social predators using social camouflage to help them blend in while stalking their prey. hopefully that is a sterile enough statement for an E comic. statistically "nice" is not a distinguishing trait, typically someone finds common ground and if it matches perfectly to yours then it is probably false. i have a friend who i sometimes go abalone diving with, being a pretty big nerd, and him more of a partier, when i go to his parties i get to hear about memorable miscommunications, like when a nerd uses a pickup line that gets mistaken for him bragging about being in the klu klux klan.

dragonestea--Well, Psy-Girl and Dr. Electric are siblings. It's rare (at least judging from my gay friends, and statistically speaking) that all siblings from a family are gay. You'll get a rundown of how they all came to know one another (and one of the members actually dated Psy-Girl before he came out) later in the interview.

You know, there's one thing that kind of annoys me about the fab five. They're supposed to represent LGBT groups in the superhero community, right? so where are the LB and T? It would have at least helped a little if Psy-Girl was gay, and I feel like it would be better if one of the boys was bisexual. Of course, ultimately there's nothing wrong with having a team of four gay males and one straight female, it's just that the team feels a little homogenous.

Friendly guy. as long you don't hurt his friends and family. he is a "beware of the nice ones." kind.
