In this comic, I decided that to be a knight who fights people with guns, you'd need to be able to dispatch people quickly. I decided that they release power by drawing their swords, one of my better ideas.

Don't want to burst any bubbles, but the idea of "drawing releasing energy" has been done by many people before. Still, it's a fun idea, and one it seems that you intend to use as fairly integral to your "knights."
