Anyone else notice the abundance of thumb-pointing going on? Yeah… what's that about?
This page took my 2 months to draw. Well, technically it only took one month because I always take the whole month of December off my calender as a “Nothing good can come of this month except presents” write-off. Truth.
I drew the bottom half of this page in Darcy's Pub tonight. My parents dragged me to watch some sort of college football championship on ESPN (Which we don't get) and I had to drive since they were going to imbibe adult beverages. For dinner I had Blackened Chicken on Brie Mac N' Cheese. I like to believe the awesomeness of that dish is what triggered the bad-assery of Bowern on this page.And to answer that burning question in all of your minds- no, I don't care to watch football. Hence the bringing a sketchbook into a pub. Yes, I know I'm from the state that brings you the Holy Tim Tebow, but I still can't bring myself to get into football. My apologies.
It's all Mina Lunga's fault that this page went up today rather than next month. She's so competitive! Even with this page up, though, I still think it's my turn to draw the next page. UGH! Life is so unfair! I mean, I'm busy running a company, and what's she doing? Getting a doctorate? Yeah, whatever, I hear doctors in training have lots of free time. Especially mushroom doctors. …that's what I hear, anyway. (I am so in trouble for writing this)
