The Hard Beat

A hard boiled short story about a green faced clown detective named Flip. I've tried to start a couple of stories lately, but they've mostly fizzled out before they've started. So I'm just going to do a stick figure short story, that way I'll have a cool story with an end. Plus I like the genre. Title character is from the Little Nemo comic strips from the 1910s-20s (no relation to the fish movie). As you may guess, he has a thing for cigars. Stay tuned for more Fliptastic updates!
