As with most concepts in their formative stage, the character and nature of Fred's character was anyone's guess early on. I initially imagined your somewhat typical charming rogue with a bit of an incompetent streak, but he has since evolved into something different…

But I get ahead of myself! This is Fred Savage, a contrary dingo mercenary who runs into all kinds of trouble. Part comedy, part commentary, and part gritty adventure story best sum up the comic, told by unwitting anthropomorphic animals who think they're people. Imagine that!
