I think most of my readers know by now that it was Friction that inspired me to do my own strip. It was Takaras unique ability to capture the feelings and expressions of her characters at in their most emotional moments that swept me off my feet when I first read this last year. Even though you may be ending it here I like to think that it will remain to inspire others in the future as it did for me, and hopefully as long as you have passion in your heart you will still feel the urge to express your feelings on paper as beautifully as you always have done. Oi oi oi. If me quitting is gonna piss the whole world off, I might as well just delete Friction. I'd reeeeally appreciate it if you didn't call my girlfriend a child or anything, cause just cause she's short and 5 days younger than me, doesn't make her any less mature. I'm already feeling guilty bout discontinuing, I don't need more guilt. But all those who understand, thank you. I'm still very sorry about all this. But! I have been woking on a comic recently, nothing but drafts.. But ima get it out soon. Possibly on Smackjeeves since it works on my sidekick.. [mmmm, frosted wheats x3] AHEM! Hi there I just want to say that as everyone else here I understand. Sucks, but that's life. I'm glad you ended it now instead of trying to continue it. You can't make a comic with no heart. And TOmmyNymph go have your tantrum somewhere else. Even if you are angry about the comic ending don't take it out on everyone here. I have also read through the comments and I didn't see anyone being mean or "throwing shit". In almost everyone of the posts the words "I understand" were there for even a child like you to read. And lastly, If you can't make your point without swearing then try not to speak. There are other children out there besides yourself.

well well well ive gone through the comments thus far and i have to say the things a few of u have said really ticked me off u act like she did this intentionally, like she wanted to quit just for the hell of it, no, she lost passion for it. i was slightly disappointed as well but u dont see me throwing shit in her face now do u? u dont have anything nice to say dont say shit at all. the comic was great while it lasted consider it a never to be continued cliffhanger and get the fuck over it noone cares if ur pissed noone cares if im pissed noone fucking cares get over urselves u worthless assholes BUT! what most of u great fans of takara and friction have said was really kind and understanding i hope u read takara's next comic if she decides to post it up seeing as how 1 or 2 ungrateful people commenting might change her mind about it but anyways this was a waste of time and finger exercising. xD i always found people who argued cyberly to be incredibly stupid and im on that list now so yay! xD hope u artists or writers were inspired by takara's artwork and make some more girl on girl comics! god knows we need to smut =D

its a total shame you won't continue this story, i was so empathetic with all your characters and loved lex and cass so much, but I totally understand your decision (i've done it with writing) but never the less I hope you will find time do a new comis (about happiness and goodness maybe?:P) either way take care and you've definitely left your mark on drunkduck!

Too bad, I really would have loved to see where this was going. But I understand your decision very well. If you can't or don't want to put anything into this anymore (and even if it's just the time to work on it) then I probably would have done the same. I hope very much that you will make another comic though! Sadly enough, there are only that many good girl/girl comics here.

I agree with RedMaz and dragonrider... It makes me VERY angry and dissapointed that youd just quit like that... But then again , I kind of understand losing interest in somethin and discontinueing it. But just because i understand doesnt mean it redirects my anger... Ive stuck with you this whole time , even when there was no signs of update , just because i loved Friction and now , after seeing there was an update today and getting really excited , my excitment falls flat , because instead of getting a continueum i get a goodbye Friction letter. I cant say i wont read a new comic if you post one on drunkduck , because i love comics. and your really good. sorry i didnt post this long of a comment before but i was too angry for anything sensible to come out... My anger and dissapointment does not cloud the fact that i do hope you good luck though...

This is very heartbreaking, this whole things kind of reminded me of me and my girlfriend the first time we started out, it was something that I loved to read and now it's gone =/ I'm very dissapointed and also angry, I wish you had made a different decision because once you put a comic up in a webcomic site you're not drawing it for yourself anymore, you're drawing it for the people who can relate to the story or who just want to read something good, I'm dissapointed with the story ending and I'm also dissapointed with the writer who let me down. =[ I hope that someday maybe you'll change your mind and continue on with Friction, because honestly I don't want to see a new comic if Friction isn't finished because I won't have faith that you'd finish the other one. Though I'm dissapointed I'll give my thanks for writing this comic, it may not have been written for me but I still thank you for writing it.
