You mean Tic-Tock, the copper robot? Hm, I hadn't thought of that link, but I remember him from the books and from "Return to Oz". I don't recall him betting with guys about killing, so I better go back to the books. Thanks for the compliments on the horses; I've been working hard with a couple of books on horses and horsemanship (and Horses Illustrated, which is unintentionally hilarious as a magazine) to try and improve them.
Is it odd that the mustached guy reminds me of the round soldier automaton from the oz stories? I think he was in the 80s Oz movie sequel.
The horse movements in the first two panels feels real natural. Ace.
