Rudy finds a dollar

I always feel like there is some kind of manga/teen-angst vibe going on here at Drunk Duck that just isn't my kind of thing. Not to disparage it, just not feeling the same vibe. Not sure if anyone even notices Gravedust and Rudy. I know I stink as a writer, I dunno…
Just feeling like one of those old-school ‘illustrator’ type comic artists. Not sure if what I post here is viable or ‘in’ at all.
See you in the cemetery regardless!

I have noticed it, had it in my faves for a few months now but I just didn't get much time to comment on it until just now! I'm in the process of recommending it right now, in fact. I love the way this comic is drawn, so to heck with being "in", being "good" is where it's at! And this, is VERY good. And Rudy is absolutely adorable! Don't disparage your writing though, these are really cute stories. I don't add just anything to my faves, I'm getting picky these days!

In THAT case, I'm on the wrong site too. Pass the pencil and the zimmer frame!

There's not so much a manga/angst thing at DD as much as the manga/angst thing tends to be the most common in web comics in general. Me, seeing old school illustrator style comics catches my eye faster than anything else (I'm here, aren't I?), just 'cause it's not done anymore. Personally, I'd be interested to see his reaction if Gravedust showed up.
