The church I was a member of at the time was built in the 50's, as can be expected of buildings of that era it wasn't exactly the most handicapped accessible. We wanted to do some updates, improve that a bit. sadly, to do these we would of been forced to follow current laws and update several other items to bring the building up to code, changing the project from simple updates to improve accessibility to a major renovation, removing it from anything we could afford to do and leaving the building less then apropriate.
Having been on the other side of this, I don't see it as direct discrimination, not fixing the door. The building was built long before it was an issue, and the cost to bring it up to appropriate level without looking like a doggy door would outweigh the monies earned by such an endeavor.
I think its more like not trying to accommodate for disabled people, or a larger store not having handicap parking, add to it a frequency of speciesism, and its a frequent sign of it existing
@rmccool one question, the action of change form, for the pookas, to enter to a place... it's something... uh... racist? i mean, that they need to chamge of form to enter like... aaaah... a churn, for example.
Fun fact, talking to someone slowly in a language they don't understand doesn't help them understand it, (the web-series Red v Blue poked fun at that fact in one of their older seasons)just makes you look dumb, or like an a-hole or both.
Speciesism: involves the assignment of different values, rights, or special consideration to individuals solely on the basis of their species membership. pooka have trouble opening human sized doors.. business that welcome them have a small door,

Thats what I was getting at, it isn't discrimination so much as it is a question of viability, in most cases, however it COULD be discriminatory.
