Excellent ending! I love that overhead shot, and the relief - with a hint of danger - of the rescue. You hit some roadblocks while doing this one; really glad you saw it through to the end!
A aprody version of this would have had Calloway asking for mops, buckets and enlisted personnel. Some of the first people to die wore their countries' rank "flight officer" which to the US is a second lieutenant but in some places is actually considered an NCO. When fitting out the ship I considered having EMs or at least a Master Chief Petty Officer but since all the whole crew were pilots and most countries have pilots as officers I got stuck with officers.
Regarding previous page comments, In our current culture, I do think most women would place (perhaps a too high) priority on covering up 'the ladies' before getting on to other business, even it was just some straps of cloth. However, I can see a change in that little inhibition in the future (such as this story) - the captain really wouldn't see covering up as a priority at a time like this. Plus, boobies are just a shtick of you comics =) Overall, this is wrapping up nicely.
They want to help our folks have a "happy ending" (to this story). Very nice of them. As we have not seen any enlisted folks I wonder who is going to clean this mess?

At this point, I'd be weary of pretty much any alien contact! Ah well, as long as they've got Lysol, I guess they're welcome.

Calloway is hoping the Aordian ship sends over a cleaning crew. One reason I choose that particular overhead shot. ;-)

Any surviving 2LT or Ensigns are on cleaning duty. OR THEY WILL JUST LEAVE IT until space dock and enlisted are there to clean it.

@KimLuster: Precisely. But if you notice Montinez and Vashod did cover up, it's only Calloway who didn't. Show off. :D
