Episode 1: Who's Who?

Oh my, this is going back a long time now… the third of May, 2003 to be precise :P Jet and Joe was my first foray into the world of web comics… and it was a sprite comic.

And a sprite comic that starts off pretty stupidly, I might add, although as Eddie Bowley (author of the excellent comic Cuthbert and others) once said ‘it has a certain charm’ - well, it certainly does for me, anyway :D

In any case, I've been on the fence about doing something with Jet and Joe for awhile now, and I think it's time to start reposting the old archives here. We'll see how it goes, in any case…

well, I do hate it when people give 5's out when they are not deserved, (it happens on my comic too XD) but this one does deserve a 5 :P

daf42 - well, obviously Joe is the one on the right and Jet is the one on the left... or is that the other way around? Darren - the final concept is just that Jet and Joe are two guys who have escalatingly weird adventures involving everything from Santa Claus to space aliens to space-time rifts that threaten to destroy the universe. It starts out slow, but starts gaining speed once the initial 'OMG! Making fun of sprite comic conventions' type humour wears off a bit... AdHoc - hahah, yeah, it's very retro :P Little j - thanks for stopping by :) BTW, you guys don't have to feel pressured into giving out 5's or anything for work which doesn't deserve it - these early comics are a mixed bag until 'the Godfather Christmas' storyline starts (where the comic really starts getting underway).
