935. Asylum 13: House Call

I did mention at one point that I wanted to focus on story more than comedy with the revival of Jix. I am still writing jokes (obviously), but if I don't get a punchline for every comic, I'm not going to be upset about it. This is one of those cases. I don't feel bad about not including a punchline in this one.
By the way, I had read on the internet that some instances of alternate personalities will have different eye colors and voice patterns than the original. I have had characters make mentions of the different voices, (Jix having a high-pitched voice, Remula being about average, Lamerix being kind of monotone, and The Ambis has a voice modulator, so we no one knows what his voice sounds like…probably a raspy Remula.) but I've never shown an eye color change.

Well, being Ambis and having the ability to change shape (the feral mode) would play a part in that, I would think. They're not full-fledged shapeshifters since they can only go from one form to the other, but it would utilize some of the same abilities. I thought about doing them yellow rather than green since it would've looked like a lighter shade, but I wanted the change to stand out more.

How would a change in personality cause such a drastic physiological change? First thing I saw suggested it's at most the shade of the eyes, assuming multiple personalities actually exists there's still a lot of psychologists who think it's just temporary amnesia and loss of impulse control or something. Of course, Jix/Remula/Lamerix isn't human, most of the time anyways.
