Page 1: issue 4 - A Saucerful of Secrets

It probably isn't very visible, but I have my first references on this page. I don't know if they'd be considered cameos, however. It's just on the DVDs next to the checkout. On the top, apparently Bad Guy High was popular enough to be made into a movie in Eiderdown's reality. Below it, it seems somebody attempted to distill the Crossover Wars into a movie (or, more likely, a miniseries or TV show). Below that are two movies unrelated to webcomics (but real movies).
　
And I open the issue with another relation to me. When I was on food stamps, I would every day get a quart of milk and get on my computer while drinking it. Then, when leaving the store, I would get a drinkable yogurt as well as a pocket pie in case there was a homeless person outside. Now, I can't afford that much and tend to get a quart of milk and some canned food, consuming it all while on my computer.
　
Julie is not giving the man the pie out of guilt. She's not even thinking about it. This differs from me, because I would always think about it. My point here is really the juxtaposition: she only thinks of her selfish thoughts, not her actions which are quite selfless.
