I'm putting together a crossover project for next year to run through multiple comics and hopefully benefit the Hero Initiative. If you want to participate, e-mail me at karamesser@hotmail.com or PQ me on this site.

I've also started an IndieGoGo campaign to help me pay for artists for my projects. Please go to the campaign site and donate some money. I would appreciate it if you could give money. There are some fun perks involved. The site is here: http://igg.me/p/213480?a=408482

Also, Heroes Alliance, here on Drunk Duck, has begun uploading a story I wrote and many drew. Sure, I drew more pages than anyone else, but there is some great art in it, too. I wrote the story two years ago, so it's nice to see it finally going up. It's updating daily and is epic in length.

Top page: This was supposed to be an impressive reveal of somebody imbued with vast power. But I am not very good at art (shock and surprise), so this is what I came up with–a man who has become fire, really. The point of it, though, is the last two panels. When I had originally conceived this, I was thinking of the events on this page as the beginning of the issue. From here is where things get interesting, and maybe a little controversial. But it's a story I had conceived and therefore really wanted to get out there.

Bottom page: At the top there, Tempore is teleporting out–something we have never seen him do before. However, we have seen his associate, Time and Laser, teleport (Tempore uses portals). It's important because until now Tempore hasn't been able to teleport. It would be nice to see theories as to why he can now (though I don't know–nobody seems to post theories when I ask if people want to speculate).
Eiderdown and Fractal have a bit of a time skip here, meanwhile. What happened after Fractal pointed out the Dawn of a New Era crew and they walked out the door? I'll let Dawn of a New Era's creator take that, for whatever he wants to do. Fractal could be saying goodbye there to either the DoANE crew or the women they met earlier, too. Also, it seems two plot threads are meeting, with Eiderdown and Fractal running into Sparkle and Astral's.
Meanwhile, I realized that Astral and Sparkle had entered the house assuming they just could. I wanted to include at least a small bit about how they should have knocked, so Astral gets berated. Who is that? It may be Seneschal, but it could also be somebody else–I'm going off a reference posted in the forums, which may not have been intended to be Seneschal (and is probably very off, color-wise).
Lastly, we see the Swimmer and the Runner, and I wanted to show something you hardly ever see in superhero comics–bodies will eventually tire, and especially novice superheroes can't keep up high intensity for very long. Immookalee may be quite in shape, but she just exhausted a lot of energy swimming and then started chasing two humanoid animals–and foxes and cats are simply faster than humans. The Runner isn't really winded because he hasn't exerted as much and has better endurance, having grown up in a culture where one swims everywhere, often from large predators. Also, the Tempore thread almost hits the two on the head there with falling clothing. But where's the hat? I leave that up to the other creators to play with. Maybe we have another dimension-traveling object on our hands.
