I'm putting together a crossover project for next year to run through multiple comics and hopefully benefit the Hero Initiative.  If you want to participate, e-mail me at karamesser@hotmail.com or PQ me on this site.

I've also started an IndieGoGo campaign to help me pay for artists for my projects.  Please go to the campaign site and donate some money.  I would appreciate it if you could give money.  There are some fun perks involved.  The site is here: http://igg.me/p/213480?a=408482

Also, Heroes Alliance, here on Drunk Duck, has begun uploading a story I wrote and many drew.  Sure, I drew more pages than anyone else, but there is some great art in it, too.  I wrote the story two years ago, so it's nice to see it finally going up.  It's updating daily and is epic in length.

Top page: And so ends this issue, the shortest I've done yet.  I realize the hero's adventures have just begun, but this was specifically written to showcase this view of Heaven and Hell, and I don't know when I'll return to him.  Of course, I said the same about Tempore after his first two issues, and look at the mileage I put him through in the special issues (not to mention what I have planned for the future).

Bottom page: I was going to have the Swimmer and the Runner meet up with my other characters, but I realized that since the plot point of the grey dogs was brought up, I need to see it through.  No kadzu plots, if I can.  So we get the real grey ones, who the Hey Fox characters were confused for.
Also, the Runner mentions not having a little piece of anatomy most guys have, alluding to his actual biology mentioned in issue 8.  Eiderdown and Fractal are the only ones whose such identities have been explicitly stated in this issue, though one can infer with Astral and Sparkle.  The Swimmer and the Runner don't stand out as trans, but they both are.  I try to draw the Runner with a more feminine figure (mainly in the hips, really) and the Swimmer gets her own touch.  But now that I think about it, I messed up on that this page, due to what's supposed to be going on down there, story-wise.
