Cover: issue 11 - Remember a Day

I'm putting together a crossover project for next year to run through multiple comics and hopefully benefit the Hero Initiative. If you want to participate, e-mail me at karamesser@hotmail.com or PQ me on this site.

Also, Heroes Alliance, here on Drunk Duck, has begun uploading a story I wrote and many drew. Sure, I drew more pages than anyone else, but there is some great art in it, too. I wrote the story two years ago, so it's nice to see it finally going up. It's updating every other day and is epic in length.

Onto the page at hand: It's simple–just a cover, and one that didn't take long to make, but I've been envisioning this one for a while. The thing is, I was trying to evoke elementary school, when you'd make turkeys for Thanksgiving by tracing your hand and drawing on that, but I didn't remember exactly how that was done. Hopefully it works. The black “writing” is supposed to be Tempore's, while the red is his teacher's. I would have done the writing in English, but I realize Tempore does not speak English as a first language. Still, I may be over-thinking it, since Tempore naturally is blind and wouldn't be able to see the paper–and it's not like I would think he has turkeys on his home planet.
It might be evident by the title that there will be some reminiscing in this story. Flashbacks aplenty, but also further plot advancement for the present, too.
Also, you may notice the inset picture/watermark/whatever and how it shows a character you haven't seen before. All I'll say is he is coming soon…
