Ditto on Aereis comments on your art. You actually show promise with the super hero style, you just need to try a LOT more different angles and positions. A LOT more. Also, some shading, coloring, SOMETHING would definitely help your art stand out more. And SHRINK YOUR PAGES DOWN! If you're scrolling sideways then something is wrong...and if you shrink your page down a certain way the lineart could look smoother and less...crispy.
If you need some suggestions on art programs, the two best ones are Adobe Photoshop and Jasc Paint Shop Pro, and you can easily find tutorials on how to use them.
However, what your comics need more than ANYTHING is some EMOTION! Seriously? Your comics reads like this to me everytime:
Kid Intense: "I am Kid Intense. I will save the world."
Other guy: "I will help you."
*they save the world*
Kid Intense: "Cool. Evil never stands a chance."
Other guy: "We make a great team."
Kid Intense: "We sure do."
Do you REALLY think that's good writing? It's lifeless. Robotic. Boring. I am sorry to be harsh, but it's so boring it's FUNNY at times...and I forget you're trying to be serious. Also, lessons on the environment? Are you aiming for gradeschoolers as your audience? Maybe you are...but heck, even gradeschoolers would be bored to tears by this.
Where's the drama? Where's the attitude? Where's ANYTHING? Randomly sticking in a word like "idiot" doesn't help either. This may be a super hero comic, but without some HUMAN qualities it's just not worth reading!
One last thing: You really don't have to host EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER of this series ON SEPERATE SITES! It's very tedious trying to read your comic like that. Just seperate it into chapters on ONE DRUNKDUCK SITE!
I'll give you some honest suggestions 1. change the profiles of your characters more. You hero changed I think only 6 times and your villian maybe 1-2 times to side profiles. 2. the repetition of the same poses is boring. Get some motion and importantly, interaction between your characters! They wern't even in the same panel, except for the mother, which brings me to 3. work on porportion. I see the old sixties influence with the muscles but the heads are too tiny and the bodies very bulky.
I think you have potention, so keep praticing!
Vdude, you show a lot of promise in your work. Might want to shrink your page down for easier reading though. Keep up the good work, you never know, you could be the next Jim Lee =).
