Freakin' finally! Five days straight, I thought I'd never get this done! Icy Hot patch is my friend right now.
Well, as I said in a thread over at the KO board, I wasn't satisifed with the current shading in the comic. While I liked the “painted” idea behind it, it had a tendancy to make the characters blend into the background, and gave them a rubbery look…simply put, I hated it and wanted to try something else. After playing around with a couple of things, I ended up trying the cell look, and like how it turned out. Thus, I used it in this page. Hopefully it eliminates the “character blending” problem. Only problem is it takes a long time to color in as opposed to the last shading style, but it's worth it.
I have to admit I Googled a few rain images as well as watched this weekend's rain out my window for this one. Rain is hard:C. The rain on the characters was fun to do though, even if I had to paint it by hand (still can't figure out that dang lasso tool).

Cell is goooood. :D The foreshortening in the first panel is ridiculous but still cool-looking. VERY well done action and backgrounds.

I've read every page so far. And I have to say this is one of the best comics I've seen here. I agree with Knuckles. This story has what it takes to be published. The style of your work reminds me of Don Bluth. I can't wait to see more.

This is too awesome. I agree. You really should consider submitting this kind of stuff to Disney. You would land a job in no time!! I would love to see this as a full-length movie :O

I must say, bravo on building the right kind of scenario where someone's actually thinking "oh no he's bleeding!" as in reading so many comics etc blood is so common one gets numb to it. Absolutely awesome job, plus the angles are really neat. 5'd

You did a wonderful job!! It was worth the long wait ^_^ I especially like the creepy third panel. The whole page is just... amazing =D
