@ aqua 77, the sword is saying things relevant. In this case 1st panel is saying "their ride (ship) is their life." 2nd panel says "If someone vengeful wants to kill you, you are going to die" I think that describes Steve well. 3rd panel say "burn their ship."

Considering how long hes avoided all the other reapers I wonder if the boss will give Steve a raise for this.

The biggest weakspot here is the talking about it when he knows there is a magic users around and suspects bad things are happening to his crew. Secondly, I think the sword may be trying to sing verses relevant to the situation, getting a message across.

Great page. I like the choice to go expansive in the middle panel. Also I really like the dialogue for the sword so far. I had a good chuckle just for this page.

Don't know why this is such a surprise for Steve. Ask any sailor and they'll tell you every ship has a soul, so it has to have been done it sometime or another. Should have been in the manual somewhere. Oh wait, forgot this was Steve, the one who doesn't use the manual. D'oh! 5/5
