Maybe it has some sort of link to Steve? .. Well, it's that or the captain was talking a lot and it was listening and singing..

You know, Steve can kill a sword, so don't get cheeky!

Well yeah a connection to death doesn't sound good, even for a magic sword. Great page.

my guess: the sword has some sort of telepathy usually used to learn new songs from those around it, and picking songs based on the current emotions of the people around. if this is true, then why did it take so long for steve to teach the sword the Imperial March? Either A: it took forever for the sword to make sense of Steve's mind, B: Steve was drunk and kept remembering the song wrong, or C The sword felt like messing with him and purposely took forever to 'learn' the song.

I bet the sword has the spirit of a former arrogant prophet (AKA, the ancient spoiler trolls) who ticked off the wrong mage or god who owed a favour to a dwarf smith.

Or, you know, the Dwarves are allowed access to Fate's History Ledgers. ...and now to try to find a pun for it.... DANG. The best I can come up with is "Fate's Used Books". *Hangs head in shame*
