I've noticed the comments on my minimalism, both here and elsewhere, and I just want to shed a little light on that. This comic has been resurrected from one or two frantic doodles in my old high school history notebook, so the style's gonna be a little rough for a week or two while I figure out what I'm doing with it all. I promise it'll get better! Would you rank a movie franchise based solely on the opening credits of the first installment? I strongly hope not… Have faith in the creative process!!

Hm... interesting opening, but I think the series needs more of a hook at this point. I'm not much for these sorts of intros, personally. Something about the character introducing themselves as a character makes it harder to accept what happens to them later in the series. Anyway, normally I try and critique on art more than writing, but there's not much to work off of at this point... The character is simple, but you convey emotion well with him. If he ends up with a body to help him along later, I know I wouldn't complain.
