Lite Bites Review: Karabear Comics Unlimited, p 6/6

El Cid sez: So there you have it. Not the prettiest comic on The Duck, but when Shasta does stories that focus more on her eccentric characters and their personalities than on mind-numbing action sequences, it's actually a really fun read. We both enjoyed the second of the two stories the most, and it's worth checking out even if you don't want to read the series from the beginning. Also, Shasta has begun a third story with new characters that looks pretty interesting. This is a series that has plenty of room to grow.

Ooh, and another pop culture reference! Why is Jim Gaffigan guest starring on the review? Because he's the new spokesperson for pseudofood sensation, “Hot Pockets!” Here's the man, preaching the truth. Check it. Word.



EDIT: Just one last quick note: As was mentioned earlier, this review was done a month ago, and since then an entire new issue has been added, with new characters, and even a bonus adventure featuring Tempore. IMO the series has continued to improve.
