Pipo - yep… thats its intended effect. to sound like a printer. As thats just whats happening. He's “printing” himself into this reality. Thats all part of the advanced technology these bad guys have. :)
Walrus - they'd always be nameless and faceless in this comic. Cuz youre not suppose to know who is really the one behind… pulling the strings and manipulating reality… :)

I'm not sure if it will be a direct reference to Shakespeare's work on "The Tempest" : "We are such stuff as dreams are made on, rounded with a little sleep." Or the Zeno's Paradox that is a bit more troublesome to explain.
