Don't worry about the design of the ship. In the mid 1940s, the Russians studied some B-29 bombers than made emergency landings in Russia. The result? The TU-4 bomber - an exact copy of the B-29. The Federation may have done the same thing with a Klingon design.

@Riley the Klingons would never have a ship with such a thin "neck" let alone allow it to be taken without first ensuring that it will blow up shortly thereafter, that is of course not counting the crew from the search for Spock...

@Ron you know how we gave you c**p on having Fox-Fur's hero name as Doc? Of the original replacements, it has to be the name that has grown on me the most, I am not counting Spoil Sport because that was already one of the many names we already had for Cory (but among the few that qualified as family friendly, right next to the braty/whiney colt, and the flee(t)ing feet, but that last one has a ton of leeway.
