I got to wonder what Boo and or Montigo would say to a federation battle-cruiser (that looks similar to various Klingon warships) crash landed right by the golden gate bridge, I dont know what I would say, Boo might call Robert, Kirk but other then that I have no clue, plus Robert HAS been on a human earth long enough to hopefully understand, though if he doesnt its forgivable, he has been busy

@KAM- as for where they can land I can think of a couple, first being right by the golden gate bridge, quite a few federation starships(and starships commandeered by the federation officers) have landed there, another is anywhere else in the pacific to avoid copyright infringement, come to think of it if your near starfleet HQ during an attack you want to be on the golden gate, its the one place you would have the best view and are completely safe

actually its been mentioned several times since, a notable recent time was "the day of the doctor" when the doctors "Confuse the polarity" or and if you replace the neutron flow with a blank he has reverse the polarity of many things leading to (for example) the wooden cyberman incinerating itself (or at least the setting did) the ship at the begining of "The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe" was blown up through the same means i believe

mhalpren - While the Third Doctor mentioned the idea 2 or 3 times I don't believe the Doctor has ever reversed the polarity of the neutron flow, probably because 1. neutrons don't flow & 2. neutrons don't have a polarity to reverse. ;-)

You guys realize that this ship without the wings or the neck and the top and bottom towers, is still likely bigger than seeker right? And he only has a few minutes tops to stop the jump, brute force won't be fast enough.

I mean HOW many times does the doctor reverse the polarity of the neutron flow? On the second thought dont answer that, it will take too long to figure out... and it almost always causes something important to happen (often a satisfying "boom")

fortunately it doesn't seem as if they got the stingray's jump drive, else there'ld be no spool up... from what I remember from standard jump drives, they have to build up energy in a capacitor and use that to enter subspace, this causes a bow wave effect and broadcasts a ships position as it enters and exits subspace... the dimension drive uses subspace and changes the "frequency" of subspace they are in so it has to be able to redirect subspace energy... Robert might be able to cause the jump drives to jam up by use of the dimension drive modified to broadcast subspace noise or something that will sound cool when its done, (ie "reversing the polarity of the neutron flow" Doctor Who)

I would like to point out there are two ways thinker likely got the gravity and dimension drives, first being by the nearly impossible task of satisfying Summer's wallet, or he could have pulled them from the Stingray Marlinespike was test driving.
