002: A Blockhead's Christmas Tree

It takes a while to nail a stick to a couple of wooden planks. And it's really annoying when that effort just… snaps in two under the weight of a decoration.
This joke is mostly in reference to one of my friends wanting another friend, nicknamed Spoof, to wear a Charlie Brown shirt for Halloween (or something), due to his cruddy luck and short stature. For reference, Spoof is the ‘drummer’ in this comic. Expect him to be the punchline of many strips in the future.
Sorry in advance, Spoof! You're just too funny to pass up use in a comic strip.
Can you tell I don't want to color in backgrounds much?

My gosh, that Charlie brown tree thing is the saddest thing ever- I don't know, but hearing "Christmas Time" during the holidays makes me feel more depressed because I think about that Christmas special with Charlie brown.

Ha, I typically leave backgrounds out completely because I can't commit to them - so at least they're THERE!
