Conspiration

Happy Epiphany to everyone who happens to celebrate it (you never know).
This is sort of another digression into typical Northern German foodstuff, you might say. North Sea grey shrimp on black bread is really delicious, provided they're fresh and your tiger doesn't notice what you're up to. ;) One of my favourites. It's so typical, that 100 years ago there even was a law that servants were not to be fed grey shrimp (as well as salmon, crayfish, mackerel, herring, cod and so on) more often than three times a week. Obviously it was a bit cheaper back then. Therefore, knowing Gundula's background, we may safely consider her an expert on seafood.
I'm prepared to bet that hardly anyone knows the movie I referenced in the first panel. Hint: It's an old one. Really old. Yet it can be safely considered a classic, even if you don't share my rather weird taste in films. :)
Thanks for reading and commenting and have a nice weekend!

I'm sorry to announce that I won't be able to finish the new page before tomorrow afternoon or so. There have been a few unforeseen events this week that severely reduced my drawing time.

Gotta be the classic "nosferatu", right? Awesome page, Paul!

It sounds delicious too, I may just try and grab some from the store. Although won't be anywhere near as good as the real deal it still sounds like a feast.

RE first panel: Hope there's no one behind the shower curtain X( RE cats' hearing abilities: Anyone being fast asleep AND at the same time being able to notice the difference between a can opener opening pineapple can from opening tuna can, will k n o w the sound of rustling gray shrimp shells falling on kitchen table and two people munching ;-)
