Watching TV

IMPORTANT NOTICE: I've officially changed my schedule to Wednesdays now!
Seriously, this Saturday schedule has never really worked out for me. This might work better. I need to log into the university network to update, and this isn't likely to change, so I can save myself a lot of trouble. Also, it should help me to get back into the swing, since this the day I've always updated anyway for the las few weeks.
Nevertheless I feel sort of sorry for not telling you earlier (it was pretty much a spontaneous decision today), as well as for the recent lack in service. To apologise, I decided to post something in colour again. Sophie's practical training is however far from finished and should continue next week, on Hallowe'en.
Also in the news: Master the Tiger has turned 3 years old!
This anniversary came so fast, I almost missed it. ;)
I had the idea for this page while watching, yup, a documentary about the salmon's migration in Alaska. When I saw the bears catching fish just by standing in the middle of the stream and keeping their mouths open, I thought of Tiger, and how to import this. Then I realised, I had already done this several times - not catching fish with my mouth, but drawing Tiger doing it. But then I thought of my cat, who really enjoys watching documentaries, especially when they feature small birds. Some scientists say, that cats can't actually watch TV nor could they comprehend it. Rest assured they're completely and utterly wrong! Besides, it gave me an opportunity to draw at least part of Gundula's living room in colour. I've wanted to do that for a long time. I've had a clear idea from the start, that all her things are in the typical (gruelling) colours that were obviously fashionable for them when they were new. I think it adds wonderfully to the slighty haphazard look I've always had in mind.
Enough said for today! Thanks for reading and commenting, and have a nice …er… time until next Wednesday or whatever.
