The comic needed to move on otherwise it would get stale, there is still plenty of room for cute moments though.

For those missing the cute factor, I'd like to ask you to remember: She's a medusa. The turn-to-stone thing is part of the general mythos. This is a rather unique turn on it (poison bite instead of gaze), but it was bound to turn up eventually.

I gotta agree with God of War. I like the comic very much, but I was rather fond of the parts where half of your audience were just going "awwww" from how cute Medusa was. But still, it's your comic, your choice.
