Yep. It's that time again The Drunk Duck Awards Are here! And they could use volunteers too! Presenters, Judges, people to do extras. Stop by The Volunteer Thread of Epicness to see how you can help make the Drunk Duck Awards better than ever. Anyway, moving my thoughts on the awards here: Best 3D/Poser - Yes, I won last year. Yes, there are a few 3D comics out there that are better than mine. I want the nomination more than the win. ;) Best Fantasy Comic - Like I have a prayer of making the Noms for this one. ;) Maybe if Every Reader had an account and voted for Muse of a Knight… nope. Still not enough to make the top 5. Best Plot Development - My only complaint about the DD awards is that they're art focused, and I'm a better writer than artist, so a nomination here would really be nice. Best Dialog - See my comments on Plot Development. :) Best Character Design - I actually have whole directories to keep track of who wears what sort of clothes and try to keep the wardrobes separate. And the judges comments posted from the awards last year mentioned this, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Best Protagonist: Morgan - I've about as much chance of getting this nom as I do best Fantasy, but it would still be cool. Best Antagonist: John or Lori - Since we left Snake World, there hasn't been as clear of an antagonist, and Orlott is still fairly nebulous as a threat. Hopefully he'll be viable for the 2013 DD awards. :) And if there's something else you feel I deserve, feel free to nominate Muse of a Knight! Once the ballot is open, I'll be posting a link. :)
