We were playing a D20 Modern campaign based on Dead Space. I was a tech genius working in the tech room when security detected that someone (coughmecough) was hacking the system and accessing personal files. Well, they couldn't prove it was me... but I then heard them whisper that they were going to kill us all. Quick bluff check! I pointed towards the opposite wall and yelled. My exact words: "Look! An obvious distraction!" They fell for it. I ran out, screaming like Zoidberg! Once outside the door, I slammed it shut, and slapped some sealers on the door. Bought me enough time to sneak into the vents and into hiding.
