I've had to google it up, but I believe you can combine Two-Weapon Fighting with Flurry of Blows along with other feats and special abilities that grant extra attacks per round. The most likely explanation for Luffy's “six attacks in one round”, however, is the Great Cleave feat.
This reminds me of a time when a certain scholar took out an entire tavern of “enemies” with a single Defensive Blast. Share a story about a character who was able to take down multiple enemies at once in one round while still at a low level.

Well, they are unrealistically optimized melee puncher, not casters.

@breakfate, that is only in pathfinder. In 3.5, flurry /does not/ act as TWF, meaning you can stack all three TWF feats with 11 monk levels and 9 levels in a full BAB class for a total of 4+2+3=9 attacks per round. Then the wizard casts haste.

Well, I was playing in a campaign where we use a sort of DnD 3.5 / Pathfinder mashup for rules. Mostly it's just 3.5, but with plenty of grabbing from Pathfinder for things like spells, feats, and even classes. So I'm playing an Alchemist. 1d6+4 fire damage on a ranged touch attack, dealing 5 fire damage as splash damage. It's not a LOT of damage, but at level 1 even the splash damage is significant when you DON'T get max hit points for first level automatically.

In MAGUS, magic is VERY different from D&D, but it would take a long time to explain, so let's just say that the Firemage sub-class can regenerate mana from fire(the bigger the fire, the more mana he can get), and he has a spell called "Fire Rain". It uses a LOT of D6s. In one session my friend who played a Firemage(he's a bit of a munchkin, and constantly tries to trick the system, but maybe that's because his brother is usually the GM) destroyed a good chunk of the goblin horde(and a bit of the town) who attacked the village we were in.

I've checked, no they don't stack. Flurry of blows essentially acts like two weapon fighting, so they don't stack. Plus, I thought Zoro only successfully gets anywhere on a 99, not a 100?
