677. Superior?

Not going to lie, I loved Kaine's run as Scarlet Spider and I am going to miss the solo series, but…with the cancellation of Superior Spider-Man, I'm having a hard time caring now. I think Kaine is getting into a team in March, so it's not that bad.
Oh…I bought some new figures (as you can see) and these are about half of what I got. New Scarlet Spider (AFTER the series ended), Superior Spider-Man (who I loathe, so I don't know how much he'll appear in the comic…but the figure is rather nice looking and I love the costume), and The Amazing Spider-Man from the second movie.
I am not fond of the way the joints look on TASM figure, but it makes him super poseable. He may become the new Spider-Man figure I use in Pegwarmers. Not sure yet.

Yeah, I mean...he wasn't totally devoid of humor, but I still missed Peter's brand of humor when Doc Ock was calling people imbeciles or whatever.

Sometimes Ock could be funny in a snide kind of way. When he fought the White Dragon and the Owl the Dragon said; "Face me and feel the Fiery Wrath..." Spidey/Ock cuts him off with; "FIERY WRATH? Good Lord, do I...we...WHO TALKS LIKE THAT?" :D It was Ock finally realising just how asinine villain speeches sound!

Actually, I was referring to the character than the series. It's not even Doc Ock himself. I just hate Doc Ock as Spider-Man. He's annoyingly pretentious, he's not funny (one of the things I like about Spider-Man). I wouldn't mind if Spider-Man still had Doc Ock in his head and I did get a little (no pun intended) attached to Anna Maria.

You Loathe Superior Spider-Man? I thought you kind of liked the series, but you felt it shouldn't have been at Peter's expense. I agree with that and if I had it my way Peter would regain control of his body but Doc Ock now be the lingering spirit guiding Peter in the new business that Ock established. AND continue his relationship with Anna Maria. She's a charming little lady and an excellent addition to the cast and the most unique love interest Peter/Ock's ever had!
